The Maloyaroslavetsky Instrument Factory was built in 1971. At the time, the plant was designed to produce complex radio systems for the Soviet Ministry of Defence.

The plant has developed a full technological cycle of production of metal, plastic moulding, painting, assembly and electronics assembly.

Today, the plant’s main production line is that of medical equipment. It produces devices for physical therapy, such as the apparatus for Tone 1 diadynamic current treatment, the Electro device for electrosleep treatment, and the UST-1.07F ultrasound therapy device.

The equipment manufactured by the plant can be found in almost every physical therapy department in hospitals across Russia.
