On October 4, 2019, Mark Boggett, CEO and Executive Partner of Seraphim Capital, visited Dr Igor Ashurbeyli. The meeting at the Moscow office of the Head of the Nation was dedicated to the relations between the largest venture capital fund and Asgardia. Igor Ashurbeyli is the only Russian on the board of directors of Seraphim Capital
The next round will take place during Asgardia's First Space Science and Investment Congress in Darmstadt on October 14-16. MarkBoggett will also take part in the Congress as a speaker.
Originally, the administration of the British venture fund Seraphim Capital announced the creation of its own space fund – the first one in Europe – back in the spring of 2016. In November 2016, Seraphim space venture fund held its first meeting Igor Ashurbeyli participated in. Dr Ashurbeyli had announced the foundation of the First Space Nation of Asgardia earlier that year, in October 2016.
