“A. A. Raspletin,” a book co-authored by Igor Ashurbeyli and Yevgeny Sukharev, won the Military-Industrial Complex award at the 2014 Best Books & Publisher Prizes in Moscow.

The prizes were established in 2000 by the Russian State Library, Literaturnaya Gazeta (literally: Literary Newspaper), the Orden cultural and educational centre, and the Russian Biographical Institute.

The book is centred on the life and work of Russian scientist Alexander Raspletin, a top designer of anti-missile defence and radar systems whose name was thoroughly classified a half-century ago.
